Techniques for Uncomfortable Conversations

This webinar is offered exclusively to PLAN member libraries and their staff.
Through this workshop, we examine some important strategies for navigating challenging conversations with confidence and empathy. You’ll learn how to maintain composure, foster understanding, and communicate effectively even in difficult situations. We’ll also consider how to create safe and supportive communication spaces.
Together, we will become more confident and productive in our communication.
As a result of this program, attendees will:
· Understand effective listening and empathy techniques
· Manage emotional responses and maintain composure in tense situations
· Increase confidence in communicating
About the Presenter: Dr. Stevie M. Munz, Ph.D. is an award-winning teacher and researcher with 10+ years of experience in the communication field. She has led hundreds of discussion forums, presentations, trainings, and workshops. As a communication expert, she is passionate about developing your communication power skills!
