Networking for Professional Success

You’ve probably heard the term “networking.” You may have even wondered, “What in the world is that and why is it such a big deal?”

In this one-hour webinar, you’ll find the answers to those questions. We’ll talk about what networking is – and isn’t. We’ll learn tips and techniques on how to network and with whom.

Some people would like to sit in front of a computer screen, submitting dozens of resumes to find a job or using social media to stay “in touch” with professional contacts. Although those activities can certainly lead to social interaction, they aren’t always as effective as we’d like in building our own networks.

For example, employment experts still estimate a high percentage of the jobs being found today are found through networking, not through plastering your resume all over town, and that includes “cybertown.” Cybertown may be the landing place, but often someone is in the background helping your name come to the surface.

Attend this session and find out how you, too, can network for success!
